ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
What is an Espresso Martini?
A cold press espresso martini is a cocktail made with vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup. It is typically shaken with ice and strained into a martini glass. The addition of cold press coffee gives the drink a bolder, more intense flavour compared to regular espresso martinis. It is usually garnished with coffee beans or a twist of orange peel. The cold press espresso martini is a popular choice for coffee lovers who enjoy a strong and caffeinated cocktail.
History of the Cocktail…..
The Espresso Martini is a cocktail that was created in the 1980s. The story goes that it was invented by a bartender named Dick Bradsell in London. According to legend, a famous model approached him and asked for a drink that would "wake her up and f**k her up." Bradsell came up with the idea of combining vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, and sugar syrup to create the perfect cocktail for her request.
Initially, the cocktail was not widely known, but it gained popularity over time as word spread about its unique combination of coffee and alcohol. It eventually became a staple in bars and restaurants around the world.
The original recipe for the Espresso Martini called for vodka, Kahlúa (a coffee liqueur), freshly brewed espresso, and simple syrup. This combination of ingredients created a rich and slightly sweet cocktail with a strong coffee flavour and a smooth finish.
Over the years, variations of the Espresso Martini emerged. Some bartenders started using different coffee liqueurs or adding additional flavours, such as chocolate or hazelnut. Others experimented with different types of spirits, like rum or tequila, instead of vodka.
It all started when Adam was struggling to get a decent Old Fashioned after relocating to the

We used the Isle of Wight Cocktail Co for a summer party recently - they have a beautiful bar setup, brilliant staff, and the cocktails were amazing, our guests loved them! Best of all, we ordered some personalised cans to make them extra special - we got our favourite margaritas with our own name on the cans, so fun!
Adam was super helpful throughout and we would thoroughly recommend - he really brings the party!
