With a tangy, slightly sweet flavour profile packed with peach, grapefruit, and lime, it’s a citrusy delight that goes down way too easily. So smooth, you’ll forget it’s boozy—until you’re two drinks in and feeling fabulous. Handcrafted in small batches right here on the Isle of Wight, it’s become an event favourite for its easy-drinking charm and perfect daytime vibes. Whether you’re brunching, lunching, or just soaking up the sun, the Brunch Paloma is the sip you didn’t know you needed.

Handmade in small batches using Premium Tequila, Peach, Grapefruit & Lime.

ABV - 13%

Once opened refrigerate and consume within 14 days.

This product doesn't contain nuts but it is made in a facility that handles nuts so we cannot guarantee that it is nut free.

The Serve

Measure 125ml into a cocktail shaker and shake for 15 seconds, add 2 or 3 ice cubes, shake for a further 15 seconds and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with pink grapefruit.

What is a Brunch Paloma?

The Brunch Paloma is a bright, refreshing twist on the classic Paloma, perfect for daytime sipping. It combines tequila or mezcal with fresh grapefruit juice, a splash of lime, and a hint of agave syrup, topped off with soda water for a light, fizzy finish. The flavour profile is tangy and slightly sweet, with a smoky undertone if you use mezcal. It’s citrusy, invigorating, and wonderfully easy to drink—ideal for brunches, lazy afternoons, or sunny celebrations. Pair it with light dishes like avocado toast or fresh fruit, and you’ve got the perfect cocktail for a relaxed yet vibrant vibe!

History Of The Cocktail

The Brunch Paloma doesn’t have a long, dusty history like some classic cocktails, but it’s a modern spin on the original Paloma, a favorite in Mexico. The OG Paloma, which means “dove” in Spanish, is said to have been created in the 1950s by Don Javier Delgado Corona, a legendary bartender in Tequila, Mexico. It’s a simple yet brilliant mix of tequila, grapefruit soda, and lime—sweet, tangy, and oh-so-refreshing.

Fast forward to the brunch-obsessed present day, and the Brunch Paloma takes the classic and gives it a laid-back, daytime twist. Instead of grapefruit soda, it swaps in fresh grapefruit juice (because brunch drinks need that fresh vibe, right?) and adds a touch of agave syrup to balance the tartness. Fizzy soda water replaces the soda for a lighter feel, making it perfect for sipping alongside eggs benedict or avocado toast.

While its exact origins are unclear, the Brunch Paloma is a product of the brunch cocktail boom—right there with mimosas and Bloody Marys. It’s tangy, light, and totally acceptable to drink before noon, making it a go-to for daytime celebrations or lazy weekends. Cheers to modern classics!
